Saturn's G ring includes a moonlet that appears as a faint, moving pinprick of light. Scientists believe the moonlet -- found by NASA's Cassini mission -- is a main source of the G ring and its single ring arc.

Astronaut Gregory E. Chamitoff flew to the station on shuttle mission STS-124 and returned to Earth on STS-126. Among the names already floated to replace Ozawa if he does step down are his two deputies, Yukio Hatoyama, 62, and Naoto Kan, 62 -- both of whom have held the top leadership post before; former party leaders Seiji Maehara, 46, and Katsuya Okada, 55; and Yoshihiko Noda, 51, long seen as a future party head.
