超対称性理論
素粒子の標準理論には、理論では決定することができないいくつかの外部パラメーターがあり、現在の宇宙を説明するためにはそれらのパラメーターが何十桁にもわたってある値に合致していなければならないなど、いくつかの謎が含まれる。それらの謎を合理的に説明できる理論として、すべての粒子には、超対称性と呼ばれる数学的変換に対応したパートナーの粒子が存在するとした理論のこと。
"KEKB加速器、Belle実験においても８億対以上のＢ中間子‐反Ｂ中間子対のデータを蓄積することに成功している。
今回、Belle実験グループは、そのうち６億６千万対のデータを用い、Ｂ中間子がK＊（ケイスター）中間子（Ｋ中間子の励起状態とレプトン対に崩壊する過程でレプトンが放出される方向の分布を解析したところ、標準理論の予想よりも大きな値を示しており、新しい物理学のヒントとなりうる現象であることがわかった。
観測された差異が新しい物理によるものかどうかを見極めるために、今後さらに実験データを蓄積して測定を行う予定である。
この成果は、8月17日からドイツ・ハンブルグで開催のレプトン-フォトン国際会議（Lepton−Photon 2009）において発表した。"

超対称性理論
素粒子の標準理論には、理論では決定することができないいくつかの外部パラメーターがあり、現在の宇宙を説明するためにはそれらのパラメーターが何十桁にもわたってある値に合致していなければならないなど、いくつかの謎が含まれる。それらの謎を合理的に説明できる理論として、すべての粒子には、超対称性と呼ばれる数学的変換に対応したパートナーの粒子が存在するとした理論のこと。
"KEKB加速器、Belle実験においても８億対以上のＢ中間子‐反Ｂ中間子対のデータを蓄積することに成功している。
今回、Belle実験グループは、そのうち６億６千万対のデータを用い、Ｂ中間子がK＊（ケイスター）中間子（Ｋ中間子の励起状態とレプトン対に崩壊する過程でレプトンが放出される方向の分布を解析したところ、標準理論の予想よりも大きな値を示しており、新しい物理学のヒントとなりうる現象であることがわかった。
観測された差異が新しい物理によるものかどうかを見極めるために、今後さらに実験データを蓄積して測定を行う予定である。
この成果は、8月17日からドイツ・ハンブルグで開催のレプトン-フォトン国際会議（Lepton−Photon 2009）において発表した。"

超対称性理論
素粒子の標準理論には、理論では決定することができないいくつかの外部パラメーターがあり、現在の宇宙を説明するためにはそれらのパラメーターが何十桁にもわたってある値に合致していなければならないなど、いくつかの謎が含まれる。それらの謎を合理的に説明できる理論として、すべての粒子には、超対称性と呼ばれる数学的変換に対応したパートナーの粒子が存在するとした理論のこと。
"KEKB加速器、Belle実験においても８億対以上のＢ中間子‐反Ｂ中間子対のデータを蓄積することに成功している。
今回、Belle実験グループは、そのうち６億６千万対のデータを用い、Ｂ中間子がK＊（ケイスター）中間子（Ｋ中間子の励起状態とレプトン対に崩壊する過程でレプトンが放出される方向の分布を解析したところ、標準理論の予想よりも大きな値を示しており、新しい物理学のヒントとなりうる現象であることがわかった。
観測された差異が新しい物理によるものかどうかを見極めるために、今後さらに実験データを蓄積して測定を行う予定である。
この成果は、8月17日からドイツ・ハンブルグで開催のレプトン-フォトン国際会議（Lepton−Photon 2009）において発表した。"

超対称性理論
素粒子の標準理論には、理論では決定することができないいくつかの外部パラメーターがあり、現在の宇宙を説明するためにはそれらのパラメーターが何十桁にもわたってある値に合致していなければならないなど、いくつかの謎が含まれる。それらの謎を合理的に説明できる理論として、すべての粒子には、超対称性と呼ばれる数学的変換に対応したパートナーの粒子が存在するとした理論のこと。
"KEKB加速器、Belle実験においても８億対以上のＢ中間子‐反Ｂ中間子対のデータを蓄積することに成功している。
今回、Belle実験グループは、そのうち６億６千万対のデータを用い、Ｂ中間子がK＊（ケイスター）中間子（Ｋ中間子の励起状態とレプトン対に崩壊する過程でレプトンが放出される方向の分布を解析したところ、標準理論の予想よりも大きな値を示しており、新しい物理学のヒントとなりうる現象であることがわかった。
観測された差異が新しい物理によるものかどうかを見極めるために、今後さらに実験データを蓄積して測定を行う予定である。
この成果は、8月17日からドイツ・ハンブルグで開催のレプトン-フォトン国際会議（Lepton−Photon 2009）において発表した。"
